Happy New Year and welcome back! I hope everyone had a peaceful and restful holiday. This first week we will get back to our everyday routines and tasks :) We will be also discussing and celebrating the season of Epiphany. I will continue to tweet the classroom updates and activities related to the curriculum. Thank you to all of the parents who sent the boxes of Kleenex in December. We were running low on tissues upon entering the "cold" season.
I would like to mention that your child's homework duotang is a great resource of reviewing WWW and practising reading sentences (since September), combined with the word games I have sent home earlier. Please feel free to keep the doutang home Monday to Thursday, there is no rush in returning it on Tuesday. If you would like to keep the duotang home over the weekend as well, that's fine too, as long as it is returned on Monday.
After your child completes the weekly homework, please check their printing, rhyming words, the sentence and guide them if any corrections are needed (e. g. a capital letter at the beginning of the sentence, a period at the end, proper letter/size formation). Your help in this matter is greatly appreciated.
